Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is appropriate for patients who require a more intensive approach. It is an 8 to 12 week program utilizing therapy, acupuncture, and meditation to provide the tools needed to overcome substance use disorder and increase chances of long-term recovery. The program reinforces positive behavior and provides individualized support.

THE ASHLEY OUTPATIENT PROGRAM PROVIDES PATIENTS WITH AFFORDABLE AND INDIVIDUALIZED PROFESSIONAL CARE. WE BELIEVE IN APPROACHING RECOVERY WITH EMPATHY AND COMPASSION. OUR CAMPUSES IN BEL AIR AND ELKTON, MARYLAND ARE UNIQUELY EQUIPPED TO PROVIDE OUTPATIENT CARE THAT'S CLOSE TO HOME AND OFFER A VARIETY OF MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, AND HOLISTIC SERVICES TO MEET EACH PATIENT'S NEEDS. Inclusions

The Bundled Rate plus Outlier Per Diems includes:

1. An 8-week base program that runs from Monday through Saturday (Applicable to Bel Air, MD and Elkton, MD Campuses). 2. Medical Management (MAT & OMT), individual counseling, group therapy, case management, family therapy services, Naloxone training, peer recovery support, transportation to and from our facilities (within 15 miles of office) and discharge planning. 3. Therapeutic Sessions include 30 minutes of individual sessions biweekly. Group Psychotherapy takes place Monday through Saturday for 3 hours per day, 3 to 4 times per week. 4. Medically supervised detoxification (from alcohol and addictive medications, including opioids, contingent on patient being medical stable to complete detoxification on an outpatient basis). 5. Should a patient leave the treatment program early against clinical or medical advice, the total bundled payment amount will still be due to the provider. 6. In the event the patient re-admits to treatment within 30 days of the original episode of care or within the Bundle Payment Period, then the subsequent re-admit is included in the bundled rate. 7. Should the patient require additional treatment surpassing the 8-week threshold, the per diem listed above will be payable per day or session, upon approval of additional treatment. The Bundled Rate Period for the Outpatient Program begins on the day of admission to the Outpatient Program and continues until discharge from the Outpatient Program.

Exclusions

Cost of housing, meals, transportation outside of 15 miles of facility / office. Medications (over the counter and prescription, including specialty). Medication lock box. Laboratory studies (billed to patient's insurance). Toxicology screening (billed to patient's insurance). Should a patient leave the treatment program early or discontinue treatment against medical advice, the bundled payment amount will still be due.

Candidacy

Candidacy for the bundled procedure will be determined by the Provider.
