The comprehensive Pain Recovery Program (PRP) aims to treat patients with chronic, debilitating pain. Chronic pain not only affects people physically, but also emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually. This program addresses chronic pain: a complex physical and psychological condition. Healing the person's mind, body, and spirit help patients reduce pain, increase function, and learn how to live a life free of opiates.

ASHLEY'S INPATIENT PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE ON OUR 147-ACRE MAIN CAMPUS IN HAVRE DE GRACE, MARYLAND. NESTLED INTO THE CHESAPEAKE BAY, WE DESIGNED OUR FACILITIES TO GIVE OUR PATIENTS THE MOTIVATION NEEDED TO HEAL THEIR MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT. WE TAILOR OUR INPATIENT PROGRAMS TO EACH INDIVIDUAL'S NEEDS AND USE MEDICAL, CLINICAL, AND HOLISTIC CARE TO HEAL THE WHOLE SELF. WITH EVIDENCED-BASED TREATMENT, WE'LL HELP TO INCREASE THE CHANCES OF LONG-TERM RECOVERY SO PATIENTS CAN LIVE LIFE FULLY AGAIN. EACH PATIENT WILL RECEIVE AN ASSESSMENT UPON INTAKE, ONSITE WITHDRAWAL MANAGEMENT, THERAPEUTIC SERVICES, SKILLS TRAINING, AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES. ALL OF THESE PLAY A ROLE IN OUR ABILITY TO FIND AND TREAT THE ROOT CAUSE OF SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS FOR EACH PATIENT THAT ENTERS OUR CARE. WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS: PRIMARY, RELAPSE, EMERGING ADULT, AND PAIN RECOVERY.

Inclusions

The Bundled Rate plus Outlier Per Diems includes:

1. A 35-day base program that runs Monday through Sunday with programming specific to reducing pain while also treating substance use disorder and dependence (Applicable to Havre de Grace campus). 2. History and physical, substance use disorder education, specialized pain recovery curriculum and education, individual and group counseling, specialized services and groups, case management. 3. Family therapy services, therapeutic art activities, spiritual counseling, fitness, acudetox, acupuncture, massage, TENS unit, peer recovery support, transportation to/from physical and hydrotherapy, and discharge planning. 4. Therapeutic Sessions include 1 to 4 hours of Individual sessions weekly and 5 to 10 hours of Group therapy weekly. 5. Medically supervised detoxification (from alcohol and addictive medications, including opioids, contingent on patient being medically stable to complete detoxification in a sub-acute setting). 6. Room & board, daily meals, laundry services (excluding dry cleaning). 7. In the event the patient re-admits to treatment within 30 days of the original episode of care or within the Bundle Payment Period, the subsequent readmission is included in the bundled rate payment and subject to the LOS threshold and outlier per diem. The Bundled Rate period begins on the day of the procedure for the scheduled Accarent Procedure and covers up to 35 inpatient days in the hospital. Should the length of stay exceed 35 inpatient days, then per diem outlier payments will be applicable for each subsequent inpatient day. The bundled rate period ends at discharge.

Exclusions

Medications, excluding detoxification medications (over the counter and prescription, including specialty). Laboratory studies, excluding initial routine labs and screening (billed to the patient's insurance). Toxicology screening (billed to patient's insurance). Postage fees. Physical and hydrotherapy (billed to patient's insurance). Should a patient leave the treatment program early or discontinue treatment against medical advice, the bundled payment amount will still be due.

Candidacy

Candidacy for the bundled procedure will be determined by the Provider.
